Water Membranes Systems, LLC, is a design, manufacturing and services company that specializes in designing and building municipal potable water treatment systems that remove contaminants found in water sources.
Who We Are
T.J. Stanton Associates was incorporated on March 17, 1993. For more than three decades, we have represented a wide range of manufacturers, with a consistent focus on process equipment and practical water and wastewater treatment solutions.
Over the years, we have introduced several innovative treatment technologies to Virginia, including Pall Water Membranes. We have sold and supported 53 membrane systems currently operating throughout the Commonwealth. We also sold the world’s largest Denite Filter, serving Baltimore, Maryland.
Our experience working directly with manufacturers, owners, consultants, and operating personnel has given us a practical understanding of the challenges faced by water and wastewater treatment facilities.
Water Membranes Systems
Water Membranes Systems, LLC was established in 2014 to address a growing need in the industry: providing new treatment systems as well as retrofit, upgrade, troubleshooting, and ongoing support services for existing water treatment facilities.
We work directly with owners and consultants to diagnose treatment plants that are not operating as designed. Our goal is to identify practical, cost-effective solutions that restore facilities to reliable operation while maximizing the value of existing equipment.
Treatment Technology Experience
Water Membranes Systems has expanded beyond membrane treatment to include water treatment systems utilizing ion exchange resins and reactive media.
Our approach emphasizes systems that are simple in design, straightforward to operate, and practical to maintain.
We have experience designing and supporting systems utilizing Asahi, DuPont, and Toray membranes. We also partner with Acurient/Nanostone on ceramic membrane applications.
These systems can be designed to remove a wide range of contaminants, including:

For 27 years, T.J. Stanton Associates partnered with Pall/Aria Filtra. Pall/Aria provided high-quality membrane systems that we were proud to market and support for many years.
Despite the change in our manufacturer relationship, Water Membranes Systems remains committed to supporting the many Pall/Aria Filtra systems already installed in the field.
