OUR SYSTEM DESIGN PROCESS

Water Membranes Systems, LLC, custom designs each water treatment system to meet the needs of the community. From the design, to the manufacturing, to the installation, we are committed to quality.

STAGE 1: PLANNING

First, our solutions team will meet with your operations staff. This team will investigate the current issues that the facility is experiencing, and will work with your operations staff to define the best solution. Our goal is to design and supply a water treatment system that addresses community’s needs.

STAGE 2: DESIGNING

Once the solutions team has selected the proper type of treatment system, Water Membranes Systems creates a preliminary design. We perform all engineering in-house for quality control, and to save you money. Our solutions team will meet with your operations staff to review all the components that comprise the system. Your operations staff will have final say in which manufacturer is used for each component class. We give you the freedom to select manufacturers so that your operations staff will receive a system comprised of familiar components, and to help you save time and money on spare parts through existing supply chains.

STAGE 3: APPROVAL

After your operations staff accepts the proposed design, Water Membranes Systems will submit all designs to the necessary State Health Department Agencies for review and approval according to their established guidelines.

If sewer access is not available, we will obtain a UIC Class V discharge permit from the EPA that will allow us to build a shallow drain field for backwash discharge.

STAGE 4: MANUFACTURING

Once the Health Department approves the design, the system is manufactured at either the manufacturer of your choice, or one of our experienced fabrication partners that serve the potable water treatment market.  All of our partners are certified ISO Compliant.

All systems are fully tested at the factory.  Any component that does not perform properly is replaced at the factory so that the system is fully functional and ready for installation when it is delivered.

STAGE 5: INSTALLATION

When all of the components are ready, Water Membranes Systems will be on-site for installation. Our technicians will ensure that every component is correctly installed according to manufacturer instructions and the approved design. We will also run tests to ensure that the system is functioning properly before leaving the site.

STAGE 6: SYSTEM MAINTENANCE

All of our systems include controls that automatically monitor and operate the plant. Your operator will need to visit the plant site once per day to perform the required daily tests. In general, a visit to one of our plants lasts between 20 and 40 minutes. Upon completion of the tests, the operator can enter the results in the controls system, which will then store the data. At month’s end, you can print the Monthly Operating Report, which is automatically assembled in the State accepted format. The Report can then be reviewed and mailed to the Health Department for their records.

All systems come with a 3-Year Warranty and on-site service with 24/7 support.
